Q:Hello AM, I have a Champion Max installed 2018. Water level inside drops 2 inches. Put dye in upper tank... came through bowl. Assumed it was 7301111-0070A seal. Ordered your OEM seal off Amazon. Installed and O-ring. Still dropping an inch. Thoughts?

Answer This Question

A:  Hello, Thank you for reaching out to American Standard. I’m sorry to hear of the issue you have had with your American Standard product. I would check that the flush valve is tightly sealed and everything looks correct. Then I would suggest checking the water level in the tank. You may need to reset that. It should be set to between 1/4" and 1/2" below the over flow tube on the flush valve. Please contact us at 1-855-815-0004 with any further questions and an American Standard Consumer Connection Advisor will be happy to assist you. We are available Monday - Friday between 8AM - 7PM ET and Saturday, 10AM - 4PM ET. Sincerely, Your American Standard Consumer Connection Team

Q:What's the difference between 7301111-0070A and 7301111=0070AP? I've bought the A version, which is blue, in the past with not good results. Just ordered the AP version, which is clear. Hoping it works better than the A version.

A:  Hello Butsan, Thank you for reaching out to American Standard. The part numbers are for the same seal. The originals were blue, but now they can be clear as well. It is a test to see if removing the blue dye will help the seals hold up better in hard water. If you have further questions, please contact us at 1-855-815-0004 and an American Standard Consumer Connection Advisor will be happy to assist you. Q:Bought this. It says the part is Rev B for toilets made 2020 or later and toilet won't stop leaking. Description does not state this. Is the blue one the only one that works for Champion 4 from 2015?

A:  Hello Pamela, Thank you for reaching out to American Standard. I’m sorry to hear of the issue you have had with your American Standard product. I know that situation can be very frustrating. The 7301111-0070a flush valve seal kit is the only one that works with the Champion toilets, it can either be blue or clear. It is also possible that the flush valve itself rather then the flush valve seal needs to be replaced. If you have further questions please contact us at 1-855-815-0004 and an American Standard Consumer Connection Advisor will be happy to assist you. We are available Monday - Friday between 8AM - 7PM ET. Sincerely, Your American Standard Consumer Connection Team

Q:I have an American Standard 21 golf ball toilet, model 4260. The manufacture date looks to be July 2005. It has started leaking around the flush valve seal. Do you still stock parts for this toilet? What is the part number? Thanks!

                Answer This Question

A:  Hello dave67, Thank you for reaching out to American Standard. The 4260 originally has a white flush valve tower that was redesigned in 2007. The white towers are no longer available but can be replaced with the gray and green flush valve under part number 7381983-400.0070ap. If you already have a green and gray flush valve then the seal alone can be replaced with part number 7301111-0070a. Q:I own the American Standard 4215A Champion toilet. I purchased the flush valve seal kit, 7301111-0070AP and installed with no issues.  However, it appears I should have installed 7301111-0070A.  Any difference between the two flush valve seal kits ?

A:  Hello, Thank you for reaching out to American Standard. Yes, this is the correct gasket for this model.
