A: I cannot imagine how the steel could have bent. Not sure what it was then but it's now forged steel going into dirt - no bending.
A: I have the same issue. The blade is not up to the standard of the handle and though it bends horribly, it has not broken yet.
A: I'm surprised, I have one that I have used a lot for two years. The metal part came off and I glued it back on. Still using and the metal end has stayed on.
A: I have not had a problem so far and even used it to uproot some deep weeds. I have put a lot of pressure on it but it did not bend even though I thought maybe I was trying to get under a really deep root and pry it up.
A: See my post on my technique.
A: Can either use it on your knees and just like normal but more leverage, or standing and pop all of them and then pull them up after!
A: The blade is pushed into the ground at the base of the weed and the weed is pried out by the roots.
A: Poke it in the ground near the base of the dandilion. Insert into ground, bend the tool over to eject the dandilion from the earth...repeat on the next dandilion.
A: Place the fork right by and just under the center of the dandelion base. You will feel it grab and see just the weed start to pull up when you have it positioned correctly. Pull up, scrape off excess dirt from the roots, and drop into a collecting bin.
