Q:we have an andersen door purchased T home depot. I had a window company look at the broken window. They said there is a broken weld and Andersen should fix however bring that the screen roles up not sure Hiw they can fix it

    Q:There is a 1/2” or more gap at the bottom of the door when the installer left. He also left with the Installer Instructions. The screen pull own handle is also missing. Is there any need for additional framework that is leaving the gap? It’s a new home

    A:  Thank you for your inquiry. The issue with the door is due to an installation error. Please note, the installation process for this model of door is from bottom to top and the sweep should be flushed to the door panel. There should not be a gap at the bottom if the door was installed from bottom to top. The gap should be at the top and it can be covered using the rain cap and rain cap extender. Please re-install the door to resolve the gap issue. Also, we have a 90-Day Limited Warranty for any missing parts from the date of purchase. Please contact our Solution Center at 855-337-8822 with the serial number of your storm door ready. You will find it anywhere on the hinge part, on a white or silver sticker. – Laine
