A:  Thank you for your question. The Andersen 3000 Series Fullview Storm Door 36 inch by 80 inch door has an actual panel size for about 35 1/8 inch by 79 1/8 inch. The panel measurement will be approximately 3/4 inch less than the door size. -Arnie

          Q:I cannot fully engage the deadbolt. What is the point of the deadbolt cylinder if it will not fully engage through a strike plate? The doors on display at Home Depot have strike plates for the 3000 series but cannot find them anywhere!

            Q:I've been told that the new Andersen Storm doors 3000's don't come with a strike plate. The door does not latch tightly. Terrible design!

            A:  Thank you for your inquiry. We are sorry for the inconvenience if this door does not have striker plate. This door has a built-in striker latch right on the channel of the door frame. The latch bolt and deadbolt on the handle set secure right into the latch rail or frame of the storm door unit. -Marki
