A:  Hi Linda, thanks for the question. Our Granite Grip Coating can be applied over concrete stain. If the existing coating is glossy, I'd recommend scuff-sanding it first to help with adhesion. I'd recommend priming over the stain with our Concrete & Masonry Bonding Primer before allying the Granite Grip. A:  Hi Merriman, thank you for your question. As it turns out, we do not recommend our products on countertops. Our coatings are not FDA approved for direct or indirect food contact. Also, the constant cleaning and use of a countertop will cause premature failure. I recommend looking into a specialty product for your countertop. Have a great day! -Giovanna
