Q:For the Best Barns 18 in. x 36 in. Single Hung Aluminum Windows, what are the window opening dimensions when the lower window portion is open? Trying to see if a window air conditioner will fit in the opening.

A:  The lower half opens to 16in. x 16in.. Also this is not an insulated window so likely not suitable for your intended use. It's for use with Best Barns storage and garage DIY kits. Richard Best Barns
