A:  The transformer has a small internal battery, the battery provides power to remember the last setting it was set to.

A:  This unit can go weeks to months on the back up battery.

A:  Our transformers need to be placed in a natural light and dark setting, the timer is activated by light and dark, signifying when to turn on and off. To use our transformers in a crawl space, you will need to place our transformer on the O for constant on. You will also need to purchase a smart plug and or external timer. I prefer to use the Kasa outdoor smart plug.

A:  To calculate how many fixtures you can place on a transformer, simply take the amount of fixtures you plan to use and x's it by the wattage. For example 10 fixtures x's 3 watts = 30 watts needed. 100 fixtures x's 3 watts = 300 watts needed.

A:  The transformer needs to be set to the A position which is for Auto. In this position the transformer will power on at Dusk and turn off at Dawn.

A:  The Stainless Steel 300-Watt transformer, which comes with a digital display for easy programming, will turn your lights on at dusk, with an option of waiting 1-9 hours to turn them off, Auto to use from Dusk to Dawn or with an option of constant On to override the photo cell and connect it to a plug in timer.
