Q:My transformer is located in the crawlspace. Will the lights turn on and off by the timer? And does the timer automatically adjust for daylight savings time? If not, which timer do you recommend?

Answer This Question
A: Our transformers need to be placed in a natural light and dark setting, the timer is activated by light and dark, signifying when to turn on and off. To use our transformers in a crawl space, you will need to place our transformer on the O for constant on. You will also need to purchase a smart plug and or external timer. I prefer to use the Kasa outdoor smart plug.
