Q:What is the smallest particle size that it removes from the air?

Answer This Question
A: All of our air purifiers have the ability to filter out microscopic particles. The smaller particles are actually easier to capture in the filter material. Small particles (<.01 microns) move around like gases very quickly, getting caught in between the folds of the filter fibers. The most penetrating and most difficult particle to capture is 2.5 microns in size. This size particle is the perfect size and moves at the perfect speed to pass right through a filter fiber hole. Our Classic, Pro, and Sense air purifiers capture this size particle at a rate of 99.97%, while our Pure Blue line will capture this size particle at a 99% rate.
