Q:Does the trigger for the hammer lock by itself when pressed?

Answer This Question
A: Mine is about four years old so your mileage may vary. It does not have a locking mechanism but I'm not sure I would ever want one. This is a fairly powerful hand held tool, I want off to be the default position. The trigger is large enough and positioned well enough, exactly where you need to be holding on anyway, I have never missed it. I actually had to go look at the thing to see if it had a locking function that I had missed.
