A:  Our king size bed failed in same way everyone else reported. We got a full refund, but rather than trash it we tried to add a 3rd party metal frame. That was over a year ago and the bed has been awesome since. Search for "Glideaway X-Support Bed Frame Support System" -- it's expensive so I would only do it if you bought this bed, can't return it, and want to salvage the purchase. Another bonus of going this route is that the metal frame is probably good for many years, and can be used with other bed frames long after you're done with this bed.

A:  The simple answer is to take a pass and buy a different bed! Why spend the money and throw 3/4 of it away? Honestly, this bed is appropriate for a guest bed or teenager...no way would I buy this for two adults to sleep on

A:  I'm sure it could be used with a box spring, but there is no need to. It's made to not use a box spring.

A:  It probably could. With a skinny box. You don’t want the headboard covered to high. Then it would look goofy.

A:  This platform bed is hardly able to hold up a mattress. I am sure you could use it with a box spring, but I'm not sure about how stable it would be. It would be a bit tall.
