A:  So, don't order the prehung, order the slab. The prehung is already on the frame with doorknob holes and hinges

A:  Yes, you can use this solid core door in a barn door style installation.

    A:  I bought my doors about three or four months ago. Both doors did come with a pre-drilled door knob hole and three door hing cut outs on the edge. Very nice doors and well constructed.

      A:  For the “barn door” look, you need to order the “interior door slab“… Not the “prehung interior door”. This door has no holes and looks phenomenal used as a barn door AND it is less expensive.

        A:  I used it for a barn door and it worked great. Most barn doors are 84" but this was only available in 80" I had to reframe my opening to make it work. You cant tell what I did and the doors are the same height as the other doors in my room

                      A:  based on the codes I know, the answer would be no. You need a fire-rated door from the garage into the house. The door is very heavy, but I didn't see any fire rating.
