A:  Have only used it outdoors once on a cloudy day. It was visable for about 15 to 20 feet. Works great indoors. I love it!

A:  No the Laser Dimension Master has a red laser and was designed for use in doors.

A:  It can be, depending on where you're trying to use it. Going the full 130ft in full sun probably won't work out so well, but shorter distances or anywhere there is slight shade on the target object and it does really well.

A:  Yes, I have used it outdoor many times. It works best when using a light colored target though.

A:  No, you have to do the square foot calculations from the length and width off of this tool. I will say it is very accurate though. I've gotten within a couple of square feet of a perfect measurement for most of my projects.

A:  Yes if you can get the beam zeroed in on the pole. If outside you might not be able to zero in on it.

A:  Yes, as long as you have something for the laser beam to hit it will work in any direction.

A:  It will measure any direction as long as there is a solid object to set the red dot on.

A:  Yes, all you have to do is get the red laser dot focused on the bar and hold it for a second to get the reading. You can get it to read from the front of the laser or it will do the addition of the body so you can get the reading from the base sitting on the ground
