A: No. You want to get wire with insulation jacket that is Gasoline and Oil resistant. It will be printed on the wire insulation along with the AWG wire size. Look at the photo I uploaded and see that the wire is labeled.

Q:Grass yard? Anyone have experience burying the 12/2 low voltage wire within / under a grass yard? I was thinking of digging a shallow 1ft. deep trench from my shed (electricity source and place for my Transformer) to new spotlights. Any feedback on that?
