        A:  Yes it has reverse. When in reverse you have to lift up so the tines are not in the dirt. It doesn't till in reverse.

            Q:I bought this tiller last September and the first time I used it every once in a awhile it would make a screeching sound when I hit a rock or root. It gradually got worse and worse and when I used it yesterday it's constant and seems like it's lost power
