A:  I will tell you what I know. It is designed to be installed on the back of a door. I have it screwed into my hollow Stanley door in the bathroom. Every single shelf is loaded with bottles, no problems at all. If you want to mount it on the wall, I would just use plastic wall anchors and you should be just fine. I would not recommend it at all for weight lifting plates or dumbbells, not designed for that.

A:  Sorry, I would have no clue. I use this rack as a spice rack on the back of my panty door. Lower shelves hold larger containers and the uppers the small round bottles. This is the third home I have used this product for this same reason.

A:  I in less than 20 minutes. It came with the anchors and screws. Easy installation.

A:  I used the clips that came with the rack, but substituted some hollow wall mount anchors. This worked very well.

A:  Yes secure provided screws are placed into wall studs or use screws with anchors. If you still think you might not have it secure enough, you can always buy similar fasteners at any hardware type store

A:  No over the Door Bracket from Closet Maid. I used sheet Metal Screws and the Clips provided by Closet Maid.

A:  Over the door bracket will really take away from the strength and stability available with this sturdy unit. I do not recommend it. I have five of these shelf units mounted to all hollow core doors. I used mounting screws purchased separately. The scews and plastic anchors that come with the shelf are not very good. Look for something that works with a predrilled hole like toogle bolts or similar. I store a lot of weight in my shelves and they have held up well because they are securely mounted.

A:  Just install with the bracket provided. Will not move or give. I used hollow door anchors.

A:  This unit is not an over the door unit, it is attached to the back of the door with 3 set screws. We use it on the pantry door to hold all our spices. This is the second one we have purchase for this use
