A:  If placed on fresh/new paint let painted area dry a few days.

A:  Yes, if you try to remove it.

A:  probably. weird question. You should also screw it to the wall with the double-sided tape.

A:  I believe the correct answer is yes, if place on drywall, but the damage will be minimum. I usually don't put this on drywall but instead try to find wood, such as a baseboard so that it can be easily peeled off when you are ready to remove it.

            Answer This Question

A:  Only when oriented the "one" way that works and then will some difficulty, using a pair of pliers and a cracking sound that made me wonder if it was broken.

A:  The rectangular holders have a small recess on one side. It goes up (away from the wall), and faces outward (toward the cover), just like it was when you took the cover off. It will fit then, when you put the port in with the RJ45 jack release slot away from the wall (the release tab on the port goes toward the wall).

A:  The connector is not seated properly or it's upside down.

A:  The jacks are upside down (read my review or watch the video)

A:  I had the same issue. You need to place the jack with the clip at the top/pins at the bottom. Then it will close easily.
