Answer This Question

A:  To replace the fuse (as instructed in the owner's manual), 1. Unscrew the flange of the plug (counterclockwise). 2. Remove the end contact, flange, and fuse. 3. Inspect the fuse to see if it is good or blown. 4. Replace with a new 12-amp fuse, if needed. 5. Carefully reassemble the fuse, end contact, and flange. Do not overtighten the flange (clockwise).

Q:My car 12V outlet has a fuse that is 15 amp. Since the fuse inside this inverter is 15 amps, in case of any issues, which fuse will go out first? I don't want my car fuse to blow out which is harder to fix. Will the fuse on the Inverter go out first?

            Answer This Question

A:  This power inverter provides a maximum of 140 watts for 20 minutes, 120 watts for 60 minutes, and 100 watts of continuous AC current to most small electrical appliances, electronic devices, or audio/visual equipment within this power consumption. We recommend making sure not to exceed this power-rating and that the electrical appliance can operate from a-modified sine wave power inverter.

                Answer This Question

A:  I have exactly the same issue. Trying to charge my Macbook Pro in the car. It charges briefly, then the light starts blinking red and blue and stops charting the macbook. It charges a phone without issue.

A:  First make sure to check that you are using the correct charger for the laptop. Using the correct voltage and amperage for your laptop is key. The device should power anything 140 Watts. Most laptops need between 45 and 90 Watts.
