Q:What is the motor diameter of this unit? My router lift excepts motors up to a 3 1/2” diameter. Which is mostly 2 1/4 HP routers.

    A:  Comes with both 1/2" and 1/4" collects. It is a plunge router with no fixed base but you can lock the base so I think you can achieve the same result.

      A:  This model can be mounted but it does not need to be mounted.

        A:  Depends how you want to use it. I just use mine free hand or with a guide. If you want to mount it to a router table then you need to find a lift that will fit.

          A:  You can mount it in just about any router table. I used mine for many years as a table mounted router.
