A:  We do not have a collated screw feed attachment for this model.

A:  This gun is meant for driving screws through drywall, pine studs, and very thin metal studs, setting screws at a specific depth. It’s not designed for driving through heavy sheet metal.

A:  No because this tool is designed to set the screw just below the surface also it will not work wi th hex head type fasteners.

A:  Yes , you will have to set the depth gauge to not sink screw through the roof metal

A:  This is a good versatile screw gun. Intended for screwing drywall to wood or metal studs, but can handle screwing many substrates. Be sure you are using the correct screw tip to match the screw you are using - #2, #3, etc.

A:  This screw gun is designed to rapidly set s drywall screw that encounters little resistance. You would need a screw gun for decking operating at much lower rpm and quite a bit higher torque. Using a drywall gun for decking will result in torqued-off screw heads or cammed out screws and broken Phillips bits.

A:  Yes, powerful enough to sink the screw in.

A:  No, you have to install the deck boards yourself. However, this will do a fantastic job of putting in the screws to hold the boards down.

A:  All DeWalt corded drywall screw guns are designed for 110 to 120 volt standard house power only.

A:  No, this unit only works with 120VAC.

A:  Provided the bits are 1 inch long and the standard 1/4 inch drive, they will work.

A:  Yes you can. But remember this tool is designed for the installation of DRYWALL nothing else.

A:  I believe this gun will work on cement backer board but you’ll want to carefully adjust the screw depth so as not to damage the cement core.

A:  Yes, I have installed cement board, drywall and deck boards with this gun. It has an adjustable clutch just for that

A:  Yes, just set the depth gauge so it does not screw all the way through.

A:  This tool is designed for drywall installation, if that is what your going to use it for then normally you would need a #2 Phillips tip otherwise get a 1/4 " impact driver tool. You will be able to use it for all type of fasteners. You will need to purchase a small case of assorted tips for the impact driver.

A:  I suggest you buy Dewalt DWA1PH2 available from Home Depot in quantities of 15 or 30. The size is a standard #2 Phillips bit, one inch long, with 1/4 inch hex drive. I have found that generic bits will work as well, but wear our faster because they are not the right hardness. It takes just 15 seconds to change out the bit.
