A: You may want to get a "true" Brad point bit for drilling hole for cabinet door hardware & by all means please put a backer piece of wood on the back of the door or drawer front to eliminate any extreme blowout. Wat I mean by a "true" Brad point is that the tip of the bit is just as pointy as the point of a throwing dart. It allows you to get exactly where you want to be without having the drill bit walk on you.
