A: yes it will

A: As long as you do not try to cut it at a high speed. the blade was made for metal and the shavings should fall out, unless you cut it too fast so that it melts the aluminum

A: Yes but go slow and keep it lubricated with wd - 40 or something.

A: Blade is painted. Paint can come off. Food service likely has special requirements. So no.

Answer This Question
A: This particular blade does fit in any reciprocal saw and it cuts faster through any metal object. I would not recommend using it on wood or branches.

A: It fit my 30 year old Porter Cable Tiger Saw and a year old Ryobi saw, it's a pretty standard shape. As to cutting wood, I would not recommend it although it might work. There are better blades for wood and branches.
by|May 5, 2023
A: This fit my Ryobi and my Porter Cable recip saws. I believe it will fit most recip saws with the tool-less blade changing system.
It should cut wood just fine, the carbide tips will stay sharp for a long time, though you could start to clog it up since it is a finer tpi (higher number) than normally used on wood.
This is an expensive blade, it works well for metal and was worth the price I paid for the work I needed to do, but you may not appreciate the value of it while cutting wood.
by|May 5, 2023
A: No, this blade is not designed to cut woods.
by|May 5, 2023
A: Yes I should fit all saws and does a good job with wood. Stays on a line fairly easy due to the thickness of the blade. As far as branches I am not sure on that as I have not used on tree cutting.

A: Cast iron...that's a horse of a different color. I would recommend renting a cast iron pipe cutter. It's a chain device with cutting wheels and a tensioner, it scores the pipe and snaps the pipe along the scored line it, similar to cutting glass.

A: A 6" will be fine, if you're careful after getting thru the first sidewall. The stroke on some cipsaw in some modes could make 'deadheading' a possibility.
You play it safe and opt for the 9" version.
