Q:Can this hose be used as the suction intake hose as well as the water out put hose? If not, what is the hose that we need to purchase? Also, do we need pvc connectors for the hoses?

A: No, the discharge hose will only be built for discharging the water, and the suction hose will be built with a metal frame in the hose to make the suction process easier. The 3'' suction hose will be model XPH0320S. The hoses will be provided with the adapters needed for direct hookup to the Duromax 3'' water pumps.
