Answer This Question
A: Yes it is, on page 3, but it's translated wrong. Switch Normal and Intensive around. Then on the dishwasher dial, going clickwise, start at the the top (12:00) is Intensive; 2:00 is Normal, etc.,, until around to 10:00 is Soak. I happen to use Normal or Intensive (pots/pans).

Answer This Question
A: You would have to install a faucet to your washer hookup, out find some sort of converter of washer thread to faucet thread. Ask a plumber

A: This dishwasher works with a traditional water valve.

A: You'd need a hose adapter for the hot water feed since they are two different diameters. You'd also need a discharge feed to washer drain pipe adapter.

A: Hello JennyM, as long as the unit is connected to a regular faucet it will work.

Q:Can standard hose be replaced with longer hose?

Answer This Question
A: Hello DMKL, we do not recommend you to use a longer hose as it may affect the pressure of the water that comes to the unit. Also affecting the performance of the dishwasher.
by|May 3, 2023
A: Not easily. The dishwasher-end of the house is attached internal to the dishwasher and not easy to remove. I'm sure changing the hoses would void the warranty pretty quickly. Also, a longer hose would decrease the water pressure to the dishwasher, I'm not sure if that would prevent it from running correctly.
by|May 3, 2023
A: I'm sure it can, but I don't know what the hidden Dishwasher-side end looks like as far as hose threads. I'd be wary about grafting extensions onto the stock plastic hose nuts. At any rate, the stock hoses barely fit in the storage cavity in the rear so any longer hoses or extensions would be unlikely to fit.

Answer This Question
A: The top is plastic. I really wouldn't cut on it or put hot things on it. Great for drying dishes on or putting things on there temporarily. FYI, it feels like it's on rather loosely, but it's not going to come off.
by|May 3, 2023
A: The top is a plastic worktop, not a cutting board.
by|May 3, 2023
A: It's like a countertop. The surface is plastic. As near as I can tell, the inside is thick particle board.

Answer This Question
A: The DDW1899WP-1 requires a hot water hook up for proper operation at 120 degrees Fahrenheit. The internal heating element is used to boost the incoming hot water only during the intensive wash cycle.

A: Yes, you can run the dishwasher with cold water.
