Questions and Answers for Delta Owendale Single-Handle Pull-Down Sprayer Kitchen Faucet with ShieldSpray Technology in Venetian Bronze

A:  I’m not sure on the center install it’s been a while since we put it in our kitchen. But up is cold and down is hot.  Ours is on the right side and to turn on you push out to the right.  So I dont think what your wanting will work with that. Hope that helps.

A:  When the handle is straight up, it is cold. When it is down, it is hot. If you mount it the way you describe, straight up will be cold and you would lower it to the left for it to be hot and somewhere in between for a mix.. So I do not believe you can mount the handle on the front and get the results you are looking for.

A:  Hi Mike, thank you for your interest in the 19875Z-SPSD-DST! We recommend installing the Faucet with the handle on the right. You may install it with the handle on the front or left side, but the temperature adjustment will be the opposite of the standard operation for single-handle faucets. You could compensate for this by swapping the hot and cold supply lines under the sink. However, the red/blue button on the handle will no longer indicate the correct temperature. A:  Have not tried, but do not see a limitation to doing so. 

A:  No, the lever operates at  90 degree angle. If you install it in the front you’re only going to turn the lever to the left for hot water and center for cold.  You won’t be able to turn the lever left to right (or vice versa).

A:  I have well water. Household white vinegar 50/50 with warm water should work and I would let it soak for a couple of hours by pulling the faucet down into a bowl of the vinegar water. Even straight white vinegar should be fine. I doubt a new faucet part is necessary but there are good places to order parts online.

A:  Stays in spray mode. Don't buy this poorly designed piece of junk.

A:  It has a button on nozzle that changes it. Has one if pushed up and you hold will do the kinda of a pressure but not splash mode. But release it and it goes back to stream. Press the other direction and it sprays and stays until you push it back to steam. Very nice faucet. I love it and so does my husband. Great purchase.

A:  It stays in spray mode until you switch back to regular stream.
