Please note: These installation instructions are intended for typical 1/2-in. drywall and do not include instructions for installing into wood, tile or stucco. When installing directly into woods studs, use #6 1 1/4-in. woods screws. ~Best, Delta Customer Care Team

A:  Two screws hold a small backplate to the surface. One set screw holds the hanger to the backplate.

A:  It takes two screws which come with the hook along with a bracket.

A:  We installed on the back of our hollow bathroom door and it’s fine. I love the design!  

A:  I am not a contractor or carpenter. I had a contractor install this into drywall. I do have some hollow inside doors - I don’t think I would install this hook - or ANY hook, o a hollow door.  I would use an “over-the-door” system, instead. 

A:  yes, maybe just top hang a single towel. door being hollow its not going to hold much weight
