To troubleshoot an issue with reduced flow, I recommend unscrewing the hand shower, cleaning the connection, and running the water to flush out any trapped debris. The hand shower can be soaked in 50/50 white vinegar and water, then rinsed, to help remove mineral deposits that can reduce the flow over time. Please reach out with any additional questions!       Q:the sliding mechanism is very difficult to operate and does not slide easily at all-- will this "break in" over time? Is this normal?

      A:  The hand held mount should slide easily when button is pushed. Button should be on front. Contact Delta for a free replacement part if defective.

There is a push button on the back of the slide mechanism that when pushed will allow you to move the mount up and down the slide bar. The slide mechanism may be easier to move with use.                 A:  It probably can if they anchor it well.I put in a grabbar because where the slider is. It would not help me if I did fall.
