Q:spout #RP34357RB that came with the brass adapter which needs to be sealed and caulked properly at the mounting wall so no leaks inside the wall, so is there a ring-base that could surround the base brass adapter to prevent leaks? what is the part number?

A: Hi ssjj,
Thank you for your question!
Unfortunately we do not provide any additional components than the tub spout. However, when installed according to instructions additional parts aren't needed to prevent water leaking.

Q:I have a Delta Victorian Shower head with pull up diverter spout. I spout I have doesn't look exactly like this and I don't have the part number. I think mine has been discontinued. Would this fit what I already have? How is this installed. Mine has a screw underneath that requires an allen wrench. Would this one fit?

A: Hi DMC!
Thank you for contacting us at Delta Faucet! I will be happy to help. No, the Victorian tub spout installs differently. The Delta RP34357RB tub spout assembly can sweat onto 1/2" C.W.T. or thread onto 1/2" IPS.
Best Regards,
Tim

A: Delivered with it is a brass adapter just like the original. It has internal threads that screw onto a 1/2 in pipe extending out of the shower wall. The spout then screws onto the adapter.
I left my original adapter in place and put the new O-ring on then screwed the new spout onto the old adapter.

Q:I'm looking for a replacement of my old Delta tub spout. The current copper stub out nipple is 2.75" long from the wall. A copper adaptor is already soldered on it as shown in the picture below. Will this spot model fit on my existing nipple without removing or cutting the existing part? Unfortunately I lost my old spot part, so couldn't use it to find a replacement. I already bought a Danco universal tub spout, but this one doesn't fit here since I can't remove the soldered adaptor.

Q:I need to replace my old Delta tub spout. The current copper stub out nipple is 2 3/4" long from the wall and a brass adaptor is already soldered on it, so I can't remove it from the current copper nipple. Can I just plug this one to the current stub out nipple?

A: This tub spout slides and screws right on a copper pipe stub out. I can't see your photo in enough detail to see if you can re-use the brass adaptor. However, it seems like you need to remove the adaptor before installing the tub spout.

A: Hi HomeDYI!
Thanks for the question. The RP34357RB tub spout comes with an adapter inside that can be removed. If the adapter you have attached is for a Delta tub spout that screwed on the nipple, you will be able to use it. If the tub spout was attached to the nipple by a set screw on the bottom of the spout, you will need a slip-on tub spout.
Best Regards,
