Q:I need this to fit over my 70.5” rock mantle. FYI, going to remove that top piece to get it smaller. 70.5” is the size of the protruding bricks below it. Question is can your cap be cut inside to fit 70.5 or do you have another one that fits my needs?

A: Hello, We do not recommend cutting down the products. We have a 72" mantel with 2" blocks on both end. The mantel from your descriptions should fit over your existing mantel.
