A:  Hello, if the item is assembled correctly, it can hold up to 180 lbs.

A:  Hello, you can drill a hole into the mantel. It wont ruin the foundation depending on where you drill the hole. There won't be room for a cable inside the mantel. The hanger board take up most of the inside space.

A:  Hello, unfortunately, we cannot alter the heights or depths on our products. We have certain machinery that is done to the size provided. We can alter the lengths of the items though.

A:  Hello, We don't recommend cutting down the product. It's crafted and put together at that length. We do custom mantels with our Farmhouse, Rustic, and Hewn mantels.
