Q:Can anyone tell me what size/type of thread is used for the drain? I can find nothing that will thread into the drain hole that states it has an "oversized drain with threaded plug".

A:  Thanks. I have this set up in an access door in my RV and it weights a ton when filled. Trying to set up a drainage system for it that doesn't require moving it. Thought the manufacturer or HD would have been more helpful. Found items per your suggestion. Thanks again...

    A:  Hello Joe - I cannot identify the thread-pitch either (beyond "large" and "coarse") Everbilt is a HD badge, if I understand it - a direct inquiry to HD or the phone number on your warranty card may get you more accurate information on a replacement part. It's far too nice of a cooler to have a taped-up drain hole - a replacement part sounds much better. If HD offers nothing helpful, the online retailer named after a Latin American River (rhymes with Thomas-son) has three pages of listings for replacement ice chest replacement parts, including fine and coarse threaded plugs.     A:  I don't know of a basket, I do know that there is a indent in the front and rear where you could put a divider, add a plastic bag liner for your food and put the ice on the other side. Should keep items cold for 5 days or so.
