Quality is horrible! Ice lasted a day! MADE IN CHINA!!
I’m confused what all the hype is about with this cooler. People who think it’s great must of never saw or used a quality cooler. This is made in China. I see that nowhere on description. Ice lasted a day after overnight prechill!!!! Prechilled dumped it out put 8 beers in and filled the rest with ice, over 50% of ice. According to them it should last 4 days!!! The quality is absolutely horrible! Plastic burs l, gouges out of plastic, choppy lines where they cut the drains and pressure valve. The straps are very soft plastic and feel like they will break every time u open it. The foam on the handle will not last a year. There is no way. The plastic itself seems very nice but that’s all it has going for it period! I feel this cooler will be a great disappointment within a few years and u will go out and spend more on a good one that’s made in the USA. Save the headache and disappointment and spend another $50-$100 on a cooler with lifetime warranty name brand U.S. company where all they do is make coolers. Needless to say I’m taking back tomorrow and getting a reputable brand. THATS MADE IN THE USA.

Everbilt 60Qt. HP cooler with HD wheels, collapsible handle in gray. This cooler holds a lot of drinks, food and of course ice. It gets heavy when full but has two nice handles on each side to lift when putting it in the back of our truck. It has two indents that could hold a can or cup on top, two latches to secure the top and a drain plug with a chain to secure it. It also has multiple places to add locks, and has good size wheels for pulling with the collapsible handle. The seal in the roof keeps the contents from leaking in air and makes the ice last longer.

This is one rugged cooler. Big enough for a weekend get away and easily manageable on a boat, or at a remote cabin. It packs well, and it needs to be nearly full in order to keep the contents ice cold for an extended period of time. The wheels are large enough to roll over smooth terrain, but I would recommend using the convenient side handles to carry it over rough patches. I also appreciate the 21 inch scale molded across the top and a built in bottle opener.

The 60 Qt. High-Performance Cooler with Heavy-Duty Wheels and Collapsible Handle from Everbilt, just plain works. Never owning a high performance cooler before, I was skeptical about the actual performance of the cooler. This being so, I had to give it a real life test. I put about six inches of cubed ice in, and secured the top. After three days, I opened it and checked the ice depth. It measured around four and a half inches deep. I must say that I was impressed. The cooler has many features. It has a drain that you can hook up to a garden hose, and drain outside your vehicle. Strong locking handles. A strong collapsible handle. Sturdy wheels. And a pressure relief valve that makes opening it a snap. The only issue I had was the weight. A thirty one pounds, it a little hard to load and unload. But after the way it performed, I think I can live with that. But most of all, it just really works.

When I first carried this cooler into the house my very first thought was HEAVY, very heavy. It does have excellent heavy duty wheels with a well made collapsible handle. However, I find that after you fill it up with ice and drinks you are going to need two strong people to carry into back of a vehicle. This alone might deter someone from buying. We plan to keep it mainly for use in our covered patio. Having a cooler that can store ice for a week is a plus when live you in Florida and experience power outages during hurricanes.

The rubber pull down seals are impossible to stretch to secure the lid. The weight for the size makes this not something you would carry any distance. There is no customer support from Everbilt to see if mine was defective. Returning item.

Bought a 120 dollar ice chest similar to this one, ice lasted longer in my 24 dollar igloo. Yes I did compare. Bought this one because of the price. Ice halfway filled with about 5 or 6 different drinks (can and 20 oz plastic bottles) 4 days later ice still in chest, watered down of course. Drain the water out, and left the drinks 6 days later drinks were still COLD. Great ice chest for the money I spent

A little heavy without anything in it. However, I see that is the case with most rotomold coolers. I he secure fasteners are tough to get on but loosen up after working with it several times. I do like the rubber feet on the bottom for grip and the cooler its self looks tough as a tank.

Picked one of these up and within 2 weeks one of the super-tight rubber T-straps broke. So I dug out the manual it came with as I vaguely recalled a 5 year warranty. I have called the number provided (866-461-8665), trying every option offered and no one ever answers, instead getting a very strange loud whistling sound - hardly a way to build customer rapport or provide warranty instructions for a new product. So I sent Customer_Care@homedepot.com a note, twice, asking to to get replacement straps (T-handle latches) which broke after only a few weeks. (Product proble: T-straps very very tight, probably a batch that was made too small? ) - no response. Posted question on this product as well as this review to hopefully get Home Depot's attention. Beware - seems like a great deal but how good is it when product fails (can't lock lid) and the 5 year warranty can't be accessed because the phone # provided is as defective as the T-Strap handles...?

I bought one of these coolers and it seemed to function fine at first except for the latches being very hard to latch. I soon realized that part of the problem of why it was so hard to latch was because the cooler lid starts warping as soon as the cooler is left in the sun. The cooler lid warps so badly in the sun that it does not seal on the edges and water will flow right out of it if it is turned on its side. I thought that maybe i had a defective one so i contacted home depot and was sent a new cooler out right away. Unfortunately the replacement cooler had the same problem so i will be returning it to the store for store credit. If the cooler was designed with a different lid that does not warp then it would be a great cooler especially for the price. If you don't care about the lid sealing well or if you plan to be opening it a lot then it is a good cooler and will keep ice much longer than a standard cooler. Home depot did have excellent customer service.

This is a very well made cooler that is built like a tank. One thing to consider before purchasing this is the fact that the rubber straps are extremely difficult to strap down, especially in the beginning. They do loosen up over time a little bit, but if you have issues with your hands, or are not a very strong person, forget about latching these straps down. Just buy a lock or something to keep it closed thru the lock hole (center of cooler lid where bottle opener is). I'm not exaggerating one bit: they are VERY difficult to strap down and I'm a strong guy! The sole purpose of the straps are to keep the lid closed in case it tips over or something. It doesn't affect the temperature of the stuff you keep inside it by leaving it unlatched at all. So again, if you have bad hands or you are not very strong, you can use alternative methods to keep the lid shut while transporting the cooler. But to keep stuff cold it is not necessary to keep it latched. As far as quality, I took this out on a weekend excursion and from Friday night until Sunday evening the ice was still in the cooler and only partially melted. Not bad! Especially in the Florida humidity!

I'm incredibly impressed by this cooler and the price I got it for. It feels well made and solid. I did the seal test where you fill the cooler with water and rock it back and forth. This cooler doesn't leak! I do wish I would have ordered a larger size. I freeze gallon jugs of water and one jug takes up a lot of space in the 36 quart version. Also, I just bought an RTIC 45 basket and it fits perfectly! Couldn't be happier with this cooler.

Wow what a great cooler. We just went on a van camping trip for 4 days and this cooler performed better than expected. We filled the cooler to the top with food and drinks and just a 10lb bag of ice and there was still a bit of ice on the fourth day. I would recommend this cooler to a friend.

This is a very sturdy ice chest. The chest has thick walls of insulation. The latches lock tight with the gasket making it an airtight interior to keep your contents iced down for longer periods of time. The chest has a bottle opener and two cup holders built in on the top. These types of ice chests tend to be heavier than traditional ice chests especially when loaded. I only complaint so far is I didn't like the handles. They slide on nylon ropes. I added knots on mine to keep the handle straight and in the place that is comfortable for me.

This is a very good looking durable cooler. The good: Lockable, good looking, cup holders, ruler on top, stable for sitting. The bad: 15 pounds heavier than my 20 years run of the mill cooler and no wheels. The extra insulation takes up a lot of space. Comparison: I left a 5 lbs block of ice in this cooler and another 5 lbs block of ice in my 20 year old cooler. After a day, the block of ice in this cooler weighed 3.3 lbs and the 20 year old cooler was 3 lbs. About 10% better. I was hoping for a lot better. Toughness: This cooler is tough, but my 20 year old cooler has survived a dozen or more trips on the airlines without any problem. It does better than my luggage. The attached picture shows the 36 vs 52 side by side. I received this IGH-PERFORMANCE COOLER WITH LOCKABLE LID for free to write this review.

Great chest for when you must keep thing very cold. It is an attractive and well constructed with thick insulation and a rugged design. The interior is a moderate size due to the thick walled insulation with interior dimensions at 11in x 18in wide and depth of 11 inches. This is a great cooler if you must keep tings very cold for a long time like a fishing or long road trip. Its mod interior do not make it ideal for keeping larger volumes of items like drinks for a party. Also the weight of the insulation do make it heavier to carry than a traditional cooler. But the rugged heavy duty construction, thick handles, lockable lid should allow it to perform for a very long time.

A very well constructed cooler. I selected the Everbilt to upgrade from my rolling Igloo cooler that I use for tent camp-outs. I would fill the other brand on Thursday evening and it would barely last to Saturday morning holding ice for bottled water and a couple cold food items. I tested the Everbilt at home; filled it almost full with cubed ice and set outside on my patio with temps running 74 low to 95 high. I only opened the cooler a couple times a day and after two days it was still half full of ice. This is far better than my Igloo, even though I didn't have any content in the Everbilt and opened it somewhat less than I would if I took it camping it still held ice much longer. I would fill my Igloo the day before the camp out and when I go to load it, the ice is at half level. The Everbilt was 3/4 level after a full 24 hours. I miss the wheels I have with my Igloo roller but the Everbilt has so much more in the construction. I compared the Everbilt to other High Performance brand coolers and the things that stand out with the Everbilt is the tethered drain plug, rope - comfort grip handles, pressure release valve, locking stainless steel plate and the smooth bottom construction with anti-skid feet. And of course the rotomold construction makes it super easy to clean.

This is a rugged and efficient cooler that works at the beach, in the woods or on the boat. It has a large interior but is not too bulky where you wont want to bring it on vacation. It can hold a lot of ice, food and drinks and with an air-tight seal, it keeps cold for several days. Two t-handle ties secure the lid tight and when opening, you can release pressure by pushing a button. The handles are comfortable and the rope is strong. The locking plate adds durability and a bottle opener was cleverly located on it. The cooler can also be locked or bolted on the front two corners. The drain is easy to open although the threading isnt meant for a garden hose and im not sure why you would need to stick a garden hose in the anyway. The only slight downside to this cooler is that the t-handle latches take some effort to secure. It's not easy. Weight is a little heavy compared to standard coolers of its size. I can easily carry it myself though as the size isnt too awkward and the handles help. Interior dimensions: 11.5 in. D x 11.5 in. H x 21.5 in. W Exterior dimensions: 17.2 in. D x 18.11 in. H x 26.77 in. W

Definitely a heavy duty cooler. It looks and feels solid. The side walls are thick and solid. The base is one solid piece. The T handles are nice and long which helps in carrying the cooler when it is full. My picture shows the gasket on the lid that seals the unit. With an easy push of the pressure release button, the air is equalized which offers no suction in getting the lid open. My only suggestion, is I wish it has wheels on one end to roll the unit. Overall, an very well made cooler. I will get a lot of use out of this.

26May19 Everbilt Cooler Review I love this 36 quart Everbuilt High Performance Cooler. It is a very well made heavy duty cooler loaded with features. It has a built in Bottle opener for those frosty beverages, a large drain plug to save your back while emptying out melted ice. The cooler has Anti Slip Feet on it to keep it from sliding around the floor of your boat. It has two built in drink holders on the lid and a recessed tie down strap slot on the top to keep a tie down from sliding off of the cooler. and it has a way to lock those under age drinkers out of it. It even has a release valve built into the front of the cooler to make opening the cooler easier, preventing a air lock. You can quickly measure the catch of the day using the molded ruler on the top lid. Like I said above, I love this cooler! The 36 Quart size is perfect because it can still be carries even when it is full of drinks and ice. It is a great size for the boat, holding a good amount of cold drinks and not being so big that it is in the way. The height of the cooler in generous enough to allow tall bottles to be stored in the upright position while the lid is tightly secured closed I left the ice in the cooler after we finished the beverages. After 21 hours there was still some unmelted ice in the cooler. It appeared that the cooler seals well and that it was capable of keeping ice frozen over night. I would definitely recommend this cooler to a friend

Here in south Florida we face extended power outages every Fall during hurricane/tropical storm season. Even if we end up on the edge of a storm the power can be out for a day or more. We are always hunting for the perfect cooler to use to try and save the contents of our freezer during a power outage. This cooler caught our eye because of the super thick walls and impressive gasket quality. Everything about it says quality from the handle to the drain outlet. We filled an ice cube tray; set it in the cooler and set the cooler in our garage. The temps last week were in the mid to high 80s and humid and the garage temps were in the mid to high 90s. We did not pack the cooler with other frozen items. The cooler literature says it can keep things cold for 5 days. At the end of 5 days the ice in the tray was melted and warm. We repeated the experiment and checked the tray after 48 hours - cold and only partially melted. We are pretty sure that if we had packed the cooler full of frozen items the ice would have made it fully frozen for our 48 hr test. We were satisfied that this cooler will be put to good use in any future power outage and really great on a picnic.

Very impressive cooler. The overall size and construction is great! We have a well-known 50 qrt brand (not this large) and this cooler keeps ice just as long or longer. We dropped 2 bags of ice in it immediately and carried to the hunting camp / farm for a work weekend with drinks and food. Still had ce a week later. The rubber latches pull the lid tight and stay in place keeping it secure. The outside material is very strong and durable, even makes a great seat. The pressure relief valve is a nice addition. The chain attached drain works well and I love the rope handles. Even a bottle opener lock plate. Very impressed.

I recieved this cooler and was a bit surprised by its size. It says on the big box that it came in that it was over 35 pounds. And I would say that is about right. It will hold over 80 cans of your favorite beverage or about anything else that you want to keep ice cold. All that being said, it got to be over 60 pounds loaded with cans and ice. So be prepared for that if you need to get it up on a truck bed, etc. It does have convenient tie down notches, cup holders and other premium features, like rope handles, plug with chained cap so it doesn't get lost on you and a premium freezer style gasket. It also has some very high grip feet on it and it stays in place. The piano type hinge on the door makes it pretty much damage proof. You can even lock it! As a first test. I threw some cold cans in it with a a few ice packs and it stayed cold for days - way longer than I would ever need to keep something cold. But I have to imagine that an outdoorsmen, boater, RV enthusiast, etc. would love this thing. My only gripe is that I wish it had wheels, but the price was right and I'm very happy with the quality and performance of this cooler.

73 Qt. High-Performance Cooler with Freezer Quality Gasket and Pressure Release Valve I ordered this because my camping bud chuckled at my pitious foam cooler, urging me to leave it behind, and pile everything into his Yeti. I did. Now I have something worth camping (or glamping) with. Not yet tested for actual ice-survival hours, but I'm betting it's far superior to the Omaha Steak cooler I was using before, both in capacity and armor. Favorite feature - improved drain plug function. Least favorite - the soft-rope side fed into the carry handles. In time, they may grow on me. Your next step up is a Yeti branded 75 qt cooler and THAT's gonna set you back about $500.

One word to describe this cooler. Wow. This thing is built like a tank and has the capacity of one. I think I could dump the entire contents of my bottom freezer on it. (see picture by the freezer). This is built every bit if not better than the much more expensive brands. You know the ones I’m talking about. This should last a lifetime and stand up to whatever you throw at it. (literally) The latches on the lid secure it in the extreme. It does take a little strength to engage the latches. It takes a little less (but still plenty) to disengage the latches. It most definitely will not be opening accidentally. I believe you could roll it end over end down a steep hillside and it would still be closed when it hit the bottom. In addition to the thing being super heavy duty you can see some thought went into the design. The relief valve is a nice touch since this thing could pull a bit of a vacuum with the heavy rubber seal on it after you fill it with ice and drinks making it hard to open. But hit the button and goodbye vacuum. Also, the handles have had some thought go into them. They are adjustable just by pulling out the rope and relocating the knot. I did this to shorten the handle to better suit my height. A taller person might like them longer. It’s good to have a choice. The ability to put a lock on it is OK but I don’t see me needing to do that. This thing is great for boating. If you have it latched and it manages to leave the boat it will remain afloat that you can be sure of. This thing should last through many years of use. I can see why they have a 5 year warranty. I can’t imagine too many folks will have need of the warranty. You’d have to do something pretty extreme to it to impart any damage to it.
