Q:Do they make a white closet-rod bracket that is adjustable.... I hate wire shelves and want to use wood shelves, but I want to be able to adjust the height of the various rods at any time. They make such brackets for department stores... See photo.

      Q:Can you verify the dimension of the depth to the bottom of the hook as shown on the drawing for Model #14317? On the drawing it shown as 2.6". As purchased I measured it to be 3".

      A:  This particular measurement may vary based on a slight tolerance of maybe +/- .3 inch. A more common measurement of 2-7/8 inches may also be found.

The drill bit size would depend on whether or not you are countersinking the screws.
