A:  Yes, you'll most likely need some plastic or lead anchors. Also drill the tile with a glass/tile drill first. Use a stud finder to find the center of the studs, if you can mount to at least one stud and then use the anchors for the other side. A:  I had a contractor install it into the tile shower wall

A:  I used a tile drill bit fot the job. A good stud finder may help find the studs. The mounting holes in the bar which do not line up with a stud, use appropriate anchors. Since the bar is 18" you can angle it off to reach two studs.

A:  You need to know the location of the studs. The closest holes are 16.75 inches apart so can attach them to studs that are 16 inches on center.
