Questions and Answers for Frost King 8 in. Exhaust Fan Cover

A:  It is not designed for this type of fan.

A:  So does this fan cover replaced the old one ? Because the one that I had the magnets was round.

A:  This is the only size we make.

A:  The cover is the right size for me but the magnets aren't holding the cover very good.

A:  If your exhaust fan is the standard size, I recommend this Frost King cover. Fits securely on the fan grid with magnets in each corner. Blocks the breeze and cold air from coming in. One note however: strong incoming wind gusts may blow off the cover. To resolve this, during the cold months, I propped up a wood cutting board against the fan cover. The product meets my expectations.

A:  This white cover is circular , with 4 magnetic tabs . The circular part of the cover will fit over a fan measuring from 8-9 inches. If you include the tabs .....12 inches. I like the product. However, if a strong wind blows in ,the cover will blow off. I added a few more magnets and it works fine now.

A:  Don't make one. We have cover that fits 8 inch round.

A:  Good Luck in finding a 'bright white'... this one is a light 'off-white' neutral cover...I painted mine "Black Stainless Steel" (which you can, also...in white)...

A:  Very easy...just go online and select your local H-D Store.

A:  this is an inferior product, it was bent , did not stick to the metal fan and lost all of its magnets in a short period of time.

A:  This fit the 8" diameter exhaust fan.

A:  out to out (corner to corner) is ~12 1/2"...but keep in mind that the cover is actually "circular", with (4) ears (lugs) where the magnets are attached.

A:  Approximately 9 3/4" x 9 3/4" corner to corner. Diameter of the round middle portion is approximately 10 1/2".

A:  I haven't seen it bigger than this one.

A:  This is the only size made.

A:  Not sure ..... I live in Montana and our Home Depot here doesn't carry them in the store. I order them online through Home Depot; the price was very reasonable and the service was great.
