A:  Over the range models must be installed 66" from the floor to the bottom of the cabinet that the microwave attaches to. This can also be measured as 30" from the cooktop to the bottom of the cabinet the microwave attaches to. A:  Good news, we can confirm that this microwave would make a great replacement for your prior Spacemaker model. They both have similar dimensions, capacities, and features and are designed to fit into a 30" wide cabinet opening. A:  This microwave is rated at 300 CFM. We're unable to compare this to your vent hood, as we do not have your model number. A:  There is not a direct replacement for the JVM1752SPSS model that is no longer being manufactured. However, this JVM6175SKSS model would make a great replacement as they are both 30” over-the-range microwaves with similar features and capacities. A:  Our over-the-range style microwaves are designed to be installed above a cooktop. They can't be installed as a built-in product. This would eliminate the usability of the cooktop fan and lights and could cause the microwave to overheat.
