A: Hi Jamie, thank you for your question. No, the timer can only go by minutes and not seconds. However, you can turn 4 devices off, and they back on 1 minute later with this device. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to respond or contact our Customer Support through phone or email. Thank you, Jasco Products Tech Support.

A: Recommend using something else.

A: Yes they would work for you but you would have to turn the computers on for one minute at a time they only control in minute increments. And there are different timers so you very well can control it to turn on and off for one minute every 6 hours every day of the week or just one day of the week or two days of the week whatever you prefer. For the record I do not work for the company have any connection to the product I own three of these and have been using them for a few years and I'm just giving you my opinion and as a consumer I recommend this product.

A: Hello TheDude, Great question and Thank you for your interest in our 7-Day 8-Outlet Power Strip Timer. The functionality of this timer allows you to set up to 7 program settings, and you are able to program it for 15 minute intervals, but not all day long. We recommend timer 15102. The 15102 would allow you to program 15 minute intervals all day long. If you have any further questions, we encourage you to respond or contact our Customer Support through phone or email. A: RDM is for random settings as programmed.
by|Mar 31, 2020
A: RDM setting is a good idea if someone is watching your house & noticing that your lights are coming on & off at the exact same time everyday. The RDM setting will make the lights come on & off within a few minutes of your settings + or - a few minutes at slightly at different times everyday.

A: Hello Jay, and thank you for your question. The random feature is a security option that will turn lights on and off using the programmed times + or – 30 minutes, giving the house a more lived in appearance while you are away. To set 4 timed outlets to “RANDOM” (RDM) simply press the “MODE” button until the RDM indicator is displayed. The timer will operate randomly as programmed. If you have any further questions, please feel free to respond or contact us through phone or email. Thank you, Jasco Products Tech Support (Manufacturer)

A: If it looses settings when the unit is unplugged or during a power outage, the little button battery must be dead. Replace the button battery.

A: Chucky,
Unfortunately it sounds like the battery might be running down and causing the timer to lose the settings.

A: The 4 outlets on the left are controlled by the timer. The 4 outlets on the right are always on independent of the timer.

A: Chucky,
If you use the four outlets under the day clock buttons then the display on the timer has to read on. If it shows off and you are using these outlets then there won’t be any power going to them. If you are using the outlets on the right under the min program buttons then these should work anytime the power strip timer is plugged into a working outlet. If the you are using the outlets on the right side and the lights don’t work then you would need to replace the timer.

A: If you are referring to the programmable ones you need to wait for the on setting to pass and set to auto.
by|Mar 31, 2020
A: Actually, four of the outlets are on a timer, while four are not. I have the same trouble, and I plan to return mine.

A: No, That's the only drawback. I believe that the 4 outlets on the left side are all activated at the same time. The 4 outlets on the right side are always activated independent of the timer.
by|May 4, 2023
A: No You have 4 outlets that are timed (with 5 programs) and 4 outlets that are live all the time
