Q:A disposer is listed as an optional add-on, but the manufacturer specification says that a Piranha disposer is included. Is there actually a disposer included?
        by|Feb 19, 2024
        1 Answer
        Answer This Question

A:  This fabulous model dishwasher does offer our Piranha™ Hard Food Disposer. The Piranha food disposer inside the dishwasher grinds food particles before they go down the drain. This clears the passage through to the drain and eliminates the need to pre-rinse dishes. The disposer offered as an optional add-on for additional cost is likely the type that is installed as a separate appliance in your sink to aid in the disposal of food scraps. For additional information please contact our HD.com customer service department at 800-430-3376 any day between 6 a.m. and 2 a.m. EST.

Q:What is the cycle time with sanitize and heated dry?

                1 Answer
                Answer This Question

A:  Thanks for checking with us! The sanitize cycle increases the time by 60 minutes. The overall cycle length will vary depending on the inlet water temperature. The heated dry cycle will extend the time by approximately 30 minutes. We hope this helps, and should you have any additional questions, please reach out to us!- Kianna@GEA
