Q:What stainless steel microwave matches the color of this range? How
by|Feb 1, 2024

Answer This Question

A:  Hey there - we’re glad you checked with us. PB935YPFS has our fingerprint resistant stainless steel finish which was designed to blend with non-fingerprint resistant stainless steel. The color and tone of our fingerprint resistant stainless steel has very good color harmony with other products. The finish does have a more rich satin finish than traditional stainless, so it is slightly less reflective. In kitchen suite appearance reviews, this has been accepted broadly. -- We recommend checking out microwave model JVM6175YKFS which also has a fingerprint resistant stainless steel finish: https://www.homedepot.com/p/GE-1-7-cu-ft-Over-the-Range-Microwave-with-Sensor-Cooking-in-Fingerprint-Resistant-Stainless-Steel-JVM6175YKFS/308804556 -- We hope this helps in your decision making! Q:How do I keep the timer on and not the oven Temperature. I set the timer, and I don't know how much time I have left.
      by|Nov 27, 2023

      Answer This Question

A:  Hello - The timer works as a countdown timer. To use the timer only without the oven, you would need to press the Timer On/Off pad and the number pads to program the time in hours and minutes. After the time is selected, press the Start pad and now the timer countdown is complete. To turn the timer off press the Timer On/Off pad. We hope this information is helpful. Let us know if you have additional questions. Best regards. -Don@GEAppliances

        Answer This Question

A:  Hi - we’re glad you checked with us! This beautiful GE Profile range has a left front dual element burner that is 8"/5" and 1900W. A dual burner cooktop lets you choose between 8-inch and 5-inch electric elements for a more convenient cooking experience. To learn more, check out the Surface Units section starting on page 7 of the manual: https://images.thdstatic.com/catalog/pdfImages/3d/3d7e3612-f4f5-4891-9a21-d145a9eee1f6.pdf -- We hope this is insightful and please reach out anytime if you have any other questions. Q:How do you unlock the controls?
          by|Nov 14, 2023

          Answer This Question

A:  Hey there - we’re glad you reached out. The Lock Controls pad (below Cook Time) locks out the control so that pressing the pads does not activate the controls. Press the Lock Controls pad, for three seconds to lock or unlock the control. Cancel/Off is always active, even when the control is locked. We hope this is informative and please let us know if you have any other questions. Have a great day! Lauren@GEAppliances

                Answer This Question

A:  Hi - Thank you for reaching out to us. We recommend contacting the manufacturer of your stainless steel carafe to see if it has been tested for safety and reliability when placed on a radiant glass cooktop. We have not done such testing and can't recommend. Wishing you all the best! Vikki@GEAppliances
