A:  Hi there, this box could be used in a wall instead of a ceiling, however this box does not have the 2 hour fire rating from UL that most electrical boxes used in walls require. I hope this helps!

      A:  There's a discrepancy here somewhere. The product description says up to 10 pounds, but if you go to the manufacturer's website and punch in the identical part number stamped on the unit itself, the description there says 6 pounds
