Q:Doea this adjust some to fit a 58" shower or would it need to be cut?

Answer This Question

A:  No. You will need at least a hacksaw to cut it down to size. For the price...you could mess it up once and still cost less than an adjustable rod that, well...I ended up throwing my adjustable in the trash. This one piece rod is the way to go

Q:At each end of the rod there's a mounting plate. It looks like each mounting plate has two screw holes to attach it to the wall. I would like to know what the spacing of those two holes is, when measured from center to center. I would expect it to be somewhere between 1 inch, and 2.5 inches. Having the precise measurement is useful when replacing an existing rod that's attached in the same way, because if the hole spacing is the same then I can reuse existing holes.

                    Answer This Question

A:  There’s no easy way to find out that as each rod is different. Some rods screws go vertically and some horizontally. This one goes vertical. Should be about 1.25 inch apart all together.
