Q:Some reviews with photos show the mermaid as pictured, as shiny copper on the entire mermaid, while other photos show the tail and hair to have a yellow color. Why is this?

A:  We have many variations of the mermaid. The one in all copper is our copper mermaid but the one that seems more yellow is our mermaid with gold leaf finish.

      A:  Hello Jay, Thank you for taking an interest in our products. This weathervane does not come with a roof mount. You will need either a 401AL or a 404 depending on the roof type you are mounting it on.

        A:  Hello SGI, Yes this can be mounted on a deck rail. We recommend getting our 401AL for mounting. This is the proper mount for this weathervane and it is adjustable so it can lay flat on the deck rail. Thank you.
