    Answer This Question

A:  I do not have any way to weigh it, but I am 70 years old and I have no problem picking it up.  It is a little cumbersome due to the length but not heavy.

Q:Is this tall enough for cleaning gutters?

              Answer This Question

A:  No! Not unless you are 7’ tall! While this is an incredible, strong step ladder, maximum safe increased elevation is only about 3’. Gutters are normally 8 to 10’ above ground and to properly clean you should be able to see inside the gutter.

              by|Aug 3, 2020

A:  No! Need at least an 8ft step or 16 ft expension , more for a 2 story.

              by|Jul 29, 2020

A:  It depends on the gutter height. The tallest reach height using this ladder is about 10 feet, so if they're any taller than that, you'll want to find a taller ladder.

              by|Jul 29, 2020

A:  Really depends on the height of your gutters. The highest you can get is 4’ off the ground. So if 4’ plus your height reaches your gutters than yes. Either way this is a great ladder. We have 2 that we use in our business. Lightweight and the platform makes it really comfortable to work from.

A:  We don't have any accessories for this ladder, but the top cap can hold a paint can or a paint tray.

A:  I Have one from Home Depot! From Gorilla Ladder's Website, it is 18lbs It is light weight, and I can recommend it https://gorillaladders.com/product/glf-5x/

A:  I am 67 female and I can handle it. I don't know exactly how much it weighs ... the specs say 18 pounds. Great stability for that weight though! I would rather have it weigh a little more and not worry about it tipping over (which the lighter ones WILL DO. You could always go to HD and pick one up to see if you can handle it? I bought it sight unseen, so I know you probably don't want to go into the store. Folds up easily too.

A:  Hi TennesseeGal, what I can tell you is that this ladder is a well built 18 pound ladder. Gorilla also makes a aluminum hybrid 5.5ft ladder that is 4lbs. lighter for household use. That size ladder is a very handy ladder. If you are not doing electrical work you do not need a fiberglass ladder. If you search the Gorilla ladder websight and choose Hybrid aluminum 5.5ft ladder you can choose a HomeDepot link and order one to be shipped to your nearest store. Many people think that if a ladder is fiberglass it will not be as heavy as aluminum but it is actually heavier. Good luck with your choice.

A:  Ann, you might be able to reach the ceiling but depending on what you're doing up there you might be better off choosing a taller ladder. Because when you're up that high you'll want to have something to hold on to. Nothing worse than losing your balance and falling. Remember-SAFTEY FIRST! It's a great ladder but I would choose a taller ladder. It's your choice. Be safe Ann.

A:  No. I use this ladder regularly for handyman work. I’m 5’7”, and I’m fully extended replacing bulbs in a 10’ ceiling.

A:  It would depend, the top step is 4' in height so if you were painting this ladder would work but if you need to be right at the ceiling you would need a taller ladder.

A:  The 10’ reach estimate is based on someone who is 5’3” with a 12” reach. You should be able to reach the ceiling with this ladder.
