Awesome ladder-heavy duty/deep storage trays and compact
Great Gorilla ladder that is sturdy,has a very useful project tray and folds up compact. Recently got the Gorilla extension ladder at the Home Depot Black Friday event and this is a perfect match for smaller jobs. It’s @ 5ft tall, made of fiberglass and is very well constructed with heavy duty steps,braces and footings. It also has a very handy deep project tray that slides and locks onto the top and even stores onto the ladder itself-great idea! There is a smaller but deeper than most pocket for screws,nails etc and holes to drop hammers,pliers etc. It’s def not lightweight but easy to carry and folds very flat and compact even with the removable tray. Overall a really good smaller ladder that will last forever and will easily become your ‘goto’ ladder. Would make an unexpected and thoughtful gift for a new homeowner,birthday or Father’s Day.

The Best
This Gorilla Ladders 5.5 ft. Fiberglass Dual Platform Step Ladder with Project Bucket (10 ft. Reach), 300 lbs. Capacity Type IA Duty Rating is by far the best folding ladder I have owned. Light weight but heavy duty. When climbing and standing on this ladder there is no give and no wobble. The top 2 steps are extra large steps and on most other ladders this steps are not for standing on but the Gorilla Ladder all steps can be stepped on. The removable bucket I thought would be pointless and that I would never use it but boy was I wrong. It’s placed in the Perfect position without getting in the way and it’s sized just right. When the bucket is stored away it also stays out of your way. Top tray can hold hammers and screw drivers. The 5.5ft height makes it perfect for all house projects short of having vaulted ceilings. It’s easy to fold and store with its compact size. My only con and Gorilla addresses it with stickers on the product is there is a pinch zone for your fingers when unfolding the ladder so please pay attention to that area. I would absolutely recommend this.

I am very impressed with this ladder!
This is going to be a great ladder for many of my projects. With the top two steps being wide, you truly can stand on it comfortably. I think I can reach as high with this ladder as a 6 ft. ladder, and I really love the removable plastic tray for holding all of my tools, etc. There are little pegs on the back two legs to hang the plastic tray on when you don't want to use it, keeping it out of the way but preventing it from getting lost. I do wish it could have been a bit lighter weight for carrying, as my tool shed is not close to my house. However, if it were not built as sturdy as it is, it couldn't have gotten the 300 lb. rating that it has. A great addition for my household and many outside projects.

Just in time to clean the gutters
Make sure you get this ladder with the detachable bucket. The bucket is a must have. The other version of the ladder is nice but there isn't enough real estate to hold your stuff while you are working on the ladder.
Ladder is very sturdy and reassuring to stand on. The bucket is removable and stores inside the ladder.
Ladder opens and closes smoothly.
A tad heavy but not too bad.

Gorilla Ladders 5.5 ft. Fiberglass Dual Platform Step Ladder with Project Bucket (10 ft. Reach), 300 lbs. Capacity Type IA Duty Rating.
I have to hand it to the engineer's who designed this ladder!!! What a perfect piece of equipment , the two top steps are very comfortable, nice and deep not like standing on a rung for hours at a time. It features a non pinch design when closing, a removable top tray for holding tools or a two gallon paint bucket. It also has built in slots and holes on the top for even more tools and a tape measure slot on the top side( see picture ).
Gorilla has come along way since starting out. If it has a Gorilla logo, I'm all over it!!!
One thing I did was to use WD on the moving parts to help the break in period, it now opens and closes very easy. Almost forgot the yellow project bucket has a storage area on the backside with pins to securely hold said bucket when not in use!
