A: Thank you for the inquiry. This lamp only operates with the ballast and cannot be used when the ballast is removed. If you want to re-wire to remove the ballast, please select this lamp instead which is ballast bypass only.

Cool White is 4000K
Daylight is 5000K

A: I learned the hard way that a T8 LED bulb will likely not operate if T12's are required. I exchanged the T8 bulbs I originally purchased for ones compatible with T8 and T12 fixtures. The replacement was very easy! The utility room is so much brighter now.
