A:  With any furniture product we recommend taking precaution before allowing glasses that may have condensation sit directly on the surface as it can cause discoloration.

A:  First of all, it is NOT OAK. The color is a rust color, nothing like the above color!!!!! Within the first month after receiving , a glass of water was set down on the table and the moisture left a bulk (very noticable) in the top layer of the table(don't know what that material is!!!). I was disappointed in the very begining, and considered writing Home Depot, but felt like it would not do any good, !! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS ENSEMBLE to anyone!!!!

A:  The table and chairs are not solid oak, they are solid wood.
