Q:Can be used on commercial carpet?

Answer This Question
A: Hello Leo,
The unit is designated as an outdoor sweeper, but can also be utilized indoors on hard floor surfaces. We would not recommend utilizing this unit on carpeting; however, by setting this unit at the highest height setting, you would may be able to use gently on a low pile or berber style carpeting. For additional questions or concerns, please contact us directly at 800.944.9200. Thank you!

Q:Thinking about attaching this to the front of a bike to clean bike lanes, any thoughts?

Answer This Question
A: Hey Willie! As good as your intentions are, I would not recommend attaching the SpinSweep to your bike. This is a great product for cleaning bike lanes, however it wouldn't work as intended and you'd be risking injuring yourself. Best, Joseph - The Hoover Team

A: We have owned three or four of the commercial Hoover 18" sweeper and have great luck in removing Chinese Elm and small Oak tree leaves from our SMOOTH concrete driveway and sidewalks. It could be of great advantage to anyone with a SMOOTH inside surface of wood, concrete, tile, etc., such as a workshop or garage for sawdust in small amounts as with
the leaves we pick-up on our SMOOTH surfaces and our neighbors driveway and sidewalk, otherwise I use the blower or shop vac. Trust you will enjoy your sweeper as much as we
over theses many years.

Answer This Question
A: It'll pick up some of them. Go over them first with a lawn sweeper to scatter the majority of them, then try the Spin Sweep.

Q:What size is the nut that holds the handle on either side to the sweeper?
by|Sep 24, 2017

Answer This Question
A: They seem to be "Hoover-size" threads. I found a couple of nuts at the hardware store that go one tight and, although not the exact same thread, stay tight and hold the handle on and can be removed and replaced if needed. New knobs are about five bucks each.

A: Yes, it will get them if you go over them a few times. A bagging mower would work better.

A: I think the wheels will slip and it won't spin.
