A:  Thank you for your inquiry, Graham. To attached this bar rail moulding to the bar, we recommend using glueing the bar rail to the bar top and attaching it with screws from underneath. Using glue and biscuit joints on the corners will ensure a perfect match that wont come undone. There are several how-to videos online on how to install a bar rail that might help. hope this helps.

Two additional suggestions would be to end on a 90 degree cut and clean up the end or create an end cap by creating a returned miter joint. A:  Hello Al, thank you for your inquiry. The bottom groove is designed to accommodate a 1/2 inch thick plywood. If 3/4 inch plywood is used you will have a 1/4 inch overhang below the bar rail. I hope this information helps you in the completion of your bar rail project. Cheers!
