A:  These are vent openings that vent the oven during operation. These openings should not be covered as it could affect the operation of the range. Smalls spills or splatter from cooktop use will not be an issue.

A:  Hello there - We appreciate you reaching out to check in on this. This appliance has been approved for 0” spacing to adjacent surfaces above the cooktop. However, a 2” minimum spacing to surfaces less than 15” above the cooktop and adjacent cabinet is recommended to reduce exposure to steam, grease splatter and heat. The nominal voltage is 240 volt, however your home may have 208V, 220V, or 240V power supply. Any appliance that is rated for 240 volts and can also be used on a 220V or 208V outlet.
