A: There appears to be another light fixture by Hampton Bay in Cade 3 - Light Brushed Nickel Vanity Light - here is the description on the Home Depot website -
"Cade 3-Light Brushed Nickel Vanity Light with Frosted Glass Shades, Dimmable LED Daylight Bulbs Included" - I couldn't find the UPC barcode due to it being OUT OF STOCK. Further, the description includes this - "4-Pack Ecosmart A19 Dimmable LED Daylight Bulbs, Included"
Maybe call Home Depot about this product.
Good Luck. We shop supplies at Home Depot very often. Good service.

A: This fixture uses standard medium base bulbs. (A19 I think is the designation). You can use LED bulbs. As long as you use dimmable LED bulbs, and a dimmer that is rated for LED bulbs, it will be dimmable.

A: Yes to both of those questions. We mounted ours with the globes down and have 3 of the across the wall over our Vanity counter. A total of 9 bulbs with only 6 watts per LED bulb is a great savings

Q:If the round junction box is centered eight inches above the medicine cabinet door, and the lights are oriented down, is there sufficient space for the door to open and close?

Answer This Question
A: Clearance will be tight. From box mounting screws to bottom of glass shade (mounted downward facing), it is 8". Also watch depth of medicine cabinet. This light works best (in downward position) with a mirror or medicine cabinet that does not project out into the bathroom more than an inch or two.

A: I believe you would have an issue opening the medicine cabinet door with the light orientated that way.

A: Hi Andyrosco, fixture is 9.5 height and the Mounting Deck is about 4.52 Height. 8" should be enough space for the doors to open/close. If you nee additional information please contact us at 1800-466-9096.

A: Yes, it will fit and the door will swing properly. From the center of the mounting nut to the outside of the glass is 7-1/4", leaving 3/4" margin in this instance. It is unfortunate the manufacturer does not provide this detail in their drawings.

A: Only if u use regular bulbs. I use daylight bulbs and they are not yellow.if the bulbs u use in any light do not say daylight on them they will put a yellow glow on any lamp u use. I love a bright white light so I have changed out allof my bulbs. You don’t have to use as high of voltage as regular bulbs either.

A: Distance between glass globe and wall plate is about 2 inches. I built a box that was 5 inches deep, attached light to it, attached box to wall. My medicine cabinet is 5 inches deep. I'll add a pic! Other option is to place it super high above your cabinet.
