A: We ar sorry to hear that you are having this issue. Please check the the dip switches in the remote still match the dip switch settings in the receiver and that they were not inadvertently changed. If the dip switches were inadvertently changed in the remote, the remote will not be able to communicate with the receiver to control the fan. If that does not resolve the issue, please call Hampton Bay customer service at 1-855-HD-HAMPTON (1-855-434-2678) and one of the team members will be able to get more information to help troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

Q:We have this fan in an office and loved it. So, got 2 more for installation in smaller bedrooms. Our professional electrician just installed them and when on HIGH there is a loud hum from both fans. All were installed by same person.

A: We are sorry to hear that you are having this issue. Most noise issues can be attributed to loose or incorrectly installed parts. If connected to a switch, the switch could cause a humming issue as well if it is not allowing full power to the fan. This can be checked by wiring the fan's receiver directly to the house wiring (bypassing the switch). If the issue persists, please call Hampton Bay customer service at 1-855-HD-HAMPTON (1-855-434-2678) and one of the team members will be able to get more information to help troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

Q:How come when I call 1-855-HD-HAMPTON, the rep says they cannot place the order because their access is down, they cannot transfer me to a different rep to take the order and send me to the manufacturer (1-800-749-3267) to place the order?

The Bond hub allows for app control and can be synced with Google or Alexa devices to offer voice control. Apple Home Kit compatibility is not supported.
